Subject:     Information regarding cancellation of General Power of Attorney registered in the office of Sub Registrar, Panchkula at Sr.No._______ dated ________. 

Sir, 

My Client namely Sh. ________________ son of Sh. ___________ resident of _________has authorized and instructed me to serve you the above addressees with the following legal notice regarding the cancellation of the General Power of Attorney registered in the office of Sub Registrar, ________ at Sr.No.________ dated _________ which I do here as under:

1. That my Client during the course of business and for the smooth running of the business executed a General Power of Attorney registered in the office of Sub Registrar, ________ at Sr.No.________ on ________ and thereafter you took certain blank cheques signed by my Client for payment of the building material etc. from the year ______ onwards. 

2.     That my Client had received a notice dated ________ from M/s _____ under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act wherein was alleged that the Cheque No.________ dated __________ for Rs._________/- in favour of M/s _________ has been dishonoured. 

3.    That as a matter of fact, the account to which the aforesaid cheque pertains was closed as far back as in the year _____and there was no legal and enforceable liability qua my Client towards M/s ______ My Client has already replied tune said notice. However, since the blank cheque signed by my Client entrusted to you in good faith during business transaction has been misused and as such my Client has left no faith in you. My Client reserve his right to take appropriate legal action if so required. 

4.    I, therefore, on behalf of my Client through this registered AD notice require you not to act upon on behalf my Client on the basis of the General Power of Attorney executed and registered in your favour in the office of Sub Registrar, ______ at Sr.No.________ dated ________ in future. My Client withdraws all the powers delegated to you through the General Power of Attorney registered in the office of Sub Registrar, ________ at Sr.No.________ dated ________. The General Power of Attorney dated ________ is being cancelled in the office of Sub Registrar, ________ after adopting the due 'procedure of law but in the meantime you are stopped from acting upon the said General Power of Attorney registered in the office of Sub Registrar at Sr.No.________ ________ and in case you act upon the said General Power of Attorney executed by my Client in your favour ________, you will do so at your own cost and risk and any act done by you as General Power of Attorney of my Client shall not be ratified by my Client.

A copy of this notice is retained in my office for further reference.
